Wednesday, July 3

Gil Kirk performs vocals and piano from 6 to 9 p.m. at Sebastian’s Seafood Grill, 16011 Boat Basin Road, Harbor. He also performs from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursdays through Sundays. For information, call 541-412-7977.

A Contra Dance workshop will be at 5 p.m. in the Curry Public Library parking lot, 94341 Third St., Gold Beach. No experience necessary. All are welcome.

Fourth of July special jazz night — featuring Jerry and Al on guitars and Rob on drums —will be at 7 p.m. at The Vista Pub, 1009 Chetco Ave., Brookings. For more information, call 541-813-1638.

Jerry Moffit performs on keyboard from 6 to 9 p.m. at Nautical Inn, 16850 Highway 101, Smith River.

Gary Lowdon performs on saxophone from 6 to 9 p.m. at O’Holleran’s Restaurant and Lounge, 1210 Chetco Ave., Brookings. He also performs from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays.

Pistol River Concert Association presents Bear Attack at 8 p.m. at the Pistol River Friendship Hall, 24252 Carpenterville Road. Sunday, July 14

Oregon Coast Lab Band, a student band and jazz organization from Coos Bay/North Bend, performs jazz and big band music in Azalea Park for the American Music Festival series. The free concert begins at 1 p.m.

Exhibits

Manley Art Center and Gallery, 433 Oak St., Brookings: Featured artist: Chetco Photography Club . The gallery theme is “The Wonderful World of Color.” Classroom panels include the works of Christina Olsen, Agatha Conrad, Heidi Heikkila, Jane Turner, the Mudslingers, Donald Christiano and Jewel Johnson.
