Saturday, July 20

Brookings Harbor Community Theater will hold auditions for the junior version of the musical “The Princess and the Pea” at 10 a.m. at the Harbor Performing Arts Center, 97900 Shopping Center Ave. Children 5-12 are welcome to audition. For more information, call 541-661-2473.

Brookings Harbor Community Theater presents the junior version of “Peter Pan” at 7:30 p.m. at the Harbor Performing Arts Center, 97900 Shopping Center Ave. Performances will also be at 2 p.m. Sunday, July 21, as well as the following weekend. Tickets are $8 for adults and seniors and $5 for students and children and are available at Wright’s Custom Framing and Art Supplies in Brookings, New Wave Video in Harbor or at the door. Ellensburg Theater Company presents Disney’s “Mulan” at 7 p.m. at Rogue Playhouse, 94196 Moore St., Gold Beach. Performances will also be at 2 p.m. Sunday, July 21, 7 p.m. Wednesday, July 24, and 2 p.m. Sunday, July 28. Tickets are $10 for general, $6 for children 6-12 and free for children 5 and younger. Jurassic Country performs from 6 to 9 p.m. at Ship Ashore Resort, 12370 Highway 101, Smith River.

“Creative Mondays” take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Crescent Harbor Gallery, 140 Marine Way, Crescent City. Attendees may come for only part of the day if wished; a 3 p.m. critique is encouraged. This is not limited to painters, but for any artwork a person wants to work on. Tuesday, July 23

Brookings Harbor Community Theater will hold auditions for the “The Canterville Ghost” at 6:30 p.m. at the Harbor Performing Arts Center, 97900 Shopping Center Ave. Parts are available for six men and 14 women. One boy and one girl, ages 10-12, will be cast. The remaining actors needed are teens and adults. For more information, call 541-661-2473.

Thursday, July 25

Brookings artist and instructor Sara Broderick will be giving a demonstration on painting with colored inks during the Fourth Thursday Art Demo at noon at Crescent Harbor Gallery, 140 Marine Way, Crescent City. Sweet Town Little, a local country music band will perform in Azalea Park for the American Music Festival series. The free concert begins at 1 p.m.
