Gil Kirk performs vocals and piano from 6 to 9 p.m. at Sebastian’s Seafood Grill, 16011 Boat Basin Road, Harbor. He also performs from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursdays through Saturdays. For information, call 541-412-7977.

Thursday, Feb. 27

Rosemary Garcia, a Southern California artist now living in Crescent City, will be doing a seaside scene in acrylics at noon during the fourth Thursday demonstration at Crescent Harbor Gallery, 140 Marine Way, Crescent City. A finger-food luncheon will precede the demonstration at 11:30 a.m. Everyone is welcome. For more information, call 707-464-9133.

Friday, Feb. 28

Ellensburg Theater Company presents “Who’s on First?” by Jack Sharkey at 7 p.m. at Rogue Playhouse, 94196 Moore St., Gold Beach. The final performance will be at  2 p.m. Saturday, March 1. Tickets are $10 in advance or $12 at the door. Advance tickets are available at Coffee Dock and Gold Beach Books. For reservations and information, call 541-247-4ETC (4382). 

Gary Lowdon performs on saxophone from 6 to 9 p.m. at O’Holleran’s Restaurant and Lounge, 1210 Chetco Ave., Brookings. He also performs from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays.

Saturday, March 1

The Mildred Hill Concert Series begins its 2014 season with a performance of the Kevin Carr Duo on bagpipes and guitar, plus stories, at 7 p.m. at Zion Lutheran Church, 2015 Washington St., Port Orford. Tickets are $12 for adults and free for children 18 and younger. A bagpipes workshop will precede the concert at 1:30 p.m. at Port Orford Library, 1420 Oregon St. 

Friends of Music and Stagelights combine forces to present Trio Voronezh, performing a diverse repertoire of music, at 7:30 p.m. at Lucky 7 Casino, 350 N. Indian Road, Smith River.  Tickets are $20 for all seats and are available at Wright’s Custom Framing and Art Supplies, Curry Coastal Pilot and at the door.

Joint Chiefs will be performing for a dance at 7 p.m. at the Rogue Playhouse, 94196 Moore St., Gold Beach. Admission is $5 for anyone with a ticket stub from the Ellensburg Theater Production “Who’s on First,” or $10 per person or $15 per couple.

Hootenanny Singalong meets from noon to 2 p.m. at the Chetco Activity Center, 550 Chetco Lane, Brookings. All ages, instruments and voices are welcome. The event is free. For information, call 541-469-6787.

Friday, March 7

Brookings-Harbor Community Theater presents “Enchanted April” at 7:30 p.m. at the Harbor Performing Arts Center, 97900 Shopping Center Ave. Performances will also be at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, March 8, and 2 p.m. Sunday, March 9, as well as the following weekend. Tickets are $10 for adults, $9 for seniors and $7 for students, and are available at New Wave Video in Harbor and Wright’s Custom Framing and Art Supplies in Brookings.
