Wednesday, May 30

•Ellensburg Theater Company will have auditions for “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory” at 7 p.m. at the Rogue Playhouse, 94196 Moore St., Gold Beach. Auditions will also be at 6 p.m. Thursday and Friday, May 31 and June 1. For more information, call 541-247-4ETC (4382).

•Chetco Pelican Players will hold auditions for the pirate play “Clankers,” an original production, at 6 p.m. at the Chetco Playhouse, 1240 Chetco Ave., Brookings. Parts are available for young people ages 12-24. For information, call Jason Liddell at 928-208-0684.

Thursday, May 31

•Brookings-Harbor Community Theater presents a benefit performance of “Grease” at the Harbor Performing Arts Center in the Brookings-Harbor Shopping Center. The show will benefit Soroptimist International of Brookings. Doors open at 6 p.m. for a picnic meal and desserts with the play beginning at 7. Tickets are $20 and are available at the door.

Friday, June 1

•Jurassic Country will perform from 7 to 9 p.m. at The Salty Dog Coffee Bar at the Port of Brookings-Harbor boardwalk.

•Brookings-Harbor Community Theater presents a special understudy performance of “Grease” at 7:30 p.m. at the Harbor Performing Arts Center in the Brookings-Harbor Shopping Center. Tickets are $10 for general admission, $9 for seniors and $7 for students, and may be purchased at Wright’s Custom Framing and Art Supplies in Brookings, New Wave Video in Harbor and at the door.  Saturday, June 2

•Chetco Pelican Players presents “Arsenic and Old Lace” at 7:30 p.m. at the Chetco Playhouse, 1240 Chetco Ave., Brookings. Performances will also be at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, June 9, and 2 p.m. Sunday, June 10, as well as the following two weekends.
