Thursday, Sept. 1

•Registration for the annual Christmas Bazaar will begin for vendors selling handcrafted gifts. Only 100 spaces are available, limited to one space per vendor. The cost is $30 plus a $25 deposit, refundable if the vendor stays until the end of the event. To register, call Vangie Andreason at 541-469-2093.

Friday, Sept. 2

•Brookings-Harbor Community Theater presents “My Fair Lady” at 7:30 p.m. at the Harbor Performing Arts Center in the Brookings-Harbor Shopping Center. Subsequent performances will be at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 3, and 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 4. Tickets are $12 for adults, $10 for seniors and $7 for youths 18 and younger. •Jerry Moffit on keyboards and Gary Lowdon on sax perform from 6 to 9 p.m. at Nautical Inn, 16850 Highway 101, Smith River.

•Old Time Music Jam will be from 1 to 2:30 p.m. at  Chetco Activity Center, 550 Chetco Lane, Brookings. Musicians of all ages are welcome. For information, call 541-469-6787.

Saturday, Sept. 3

•The Chetco Pelican Players present Oscar-winning director Elmo Williams in a special screening of “High Noon,” the classic western that he edited, at 7 p.m. at The Chetco Playhouse, 1240 Chetco Ave., Brookings. Tickets are $15. The screening will also be at 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 4.

•The Drifters, staring Bobby Hendricks, will perform two shows in the Lucky 7 Casino Tolowa Events Center, 350 N. Indian Road, Smith River. Shows will be at 7 and 9 pm. Tickets are $25 and are available at the casino or by calling 707-487-7777. Attendees must be 21 and older.

•The final Plein Air Paint-Out of the summer will be from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Port of Brookings Harbor. An optional critique will follow from 4 to 5 p.m.

•The Port Orford Art and Seafood Festival will be on 11th Street between the Port Orford Community Building and Driftwood Elementary School. The event will include a Gallery Walk featuring eight venues. The event will also be Sunday, Sept.  4. For information, call Jim Billings at 541-366-1149.

Saturday, Sept. 10

•Hootenanny Singalong meets from noon to 2 p.m. at the Chetco Activity Center, 550 Chetco Lane, Brookings. All ages, instruments and voices are welcome. The event is free. For information, call 541-469-6787.

•The 87th Second Saturday Art Walk will be from 4 to 7 p.m. at venues along Chetco Avenue, Oak Street and Art Walk Alley in Brookings.

Sunday, Sept. 11

•The third annual 9/11 Concert and Candlelight Vigil will be at the Azalea Park bandshell. This year will commemorate the 10th anniversary of the last attack on American soil. The event will begin at 4 p.m. and will include music, speakers, First Responders Ceremony, Emblem Club flag folding, gun salutes and flyovers. In addition there will be raffles and food.

•Gil Kirk performs keyboard at Sebastian’s Seafood Grill, 16011 Boat Basin Road, Harbor. Performances are from 7 to 10 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday and 6 to 9 p.m. Sunday. For information, call 541-412-7977.
