Monday, June 5

•Karaoke is offered at 9 p.m. at Turf Club, 900 Front St., Crescent City.

•"Creative Mondays" take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Crescent Harbor Gallery, 140 Marine Way, Crescent City. Attendees may come for only part of the day if wished; a 3 p.m. critique is encouraged. This is not limited to painters, but for any artwork a person wants to work on . Friday, June 8

•Chetco Pelican Players presents “Arsenic and Old Lace” at 7:30 p.m. at the Chetco Playhouse, 1240 Chetco Ave., Brookings. Performances will also be at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, June 9, and 2 p.m. Sunday, June 10, as well as the following two weekends. Tickets are $12 for adults and $6 for students and are available at Chetco Pharmacy and Gifts and Wright’s Custom Framing and Art Supplies in Brookings, and at New Wave Video in Harbor. Saturday, June 9

•The 96th Second Saturday Art Walk will take place from 4 to 7 p.m. at venues along Chetco Avenue, Oak Street and Art Walk Alley. The event includes art, music, special events and food.

•’60s Soul, an all-night dance party, will take place from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. at the Event Center on the Beach, 29392 Ellensburg Ave., Gold Beach. A variety of music from the 1960s will be played on vinyl records. Admission is $12. People must be 21 and older.

Wednesday, June 13, 

•The Cape Blanco Heritage Society presents its fifth-annual "Living History at Hughes House," programs comprised of short vignettes, in one-on-one conversational settings. Dressed in period costumes, the actors discuss events in their personal lives and in the world around them. The first presentation, “Jane at Home” will take place several times when visitors are present between the hours of 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. Hughes House is in Cape Blanco State Park on Cape Blanco Highway north of Port Orford. Tours and shows are by donation.

Thursday, June 14

•Pelican Bay Arts Association will meet at the Manley Art Center and Gallery, 433 Oak St., Brookings. The meeting will begin at 11 a.m. followed by a potluck at noon. At 12:30 p.m. Harley and Jill Munger will give a presentation on ceramic murals.
