Wednesday, May 28

Gil Kirk performs vocals and piano from 6 to 9 p.m. at Sebastian’s Seafood Grill, 16011 Boat Basin Road, Harbor. He also performs from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursdays through Saturdays. For information, call 541-412-7977.

Friday, May 30

Brookings Harbor Community Theater presents “Cinderella’s Glass Slipper” at 7:30 p.m. at the Harbor Performing Arts Center, 97900 Shopping Center Ave. Final shows will be at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, May 31, and 2 p.m. Sunday, June 1. Tickets are $10 for adults, $8 for seniors and $6 for students and children.  Tickets are available at New Wave Video in Harbor, Wright’s Custom Framing and Art Supplies in Brookings, and at the door. Gary Lowdon performs on saxophone from 6 to 9 p.m. at O’Holleran’s Restaurant and Lounge, 1210 Chetco Ave., Brookings. He also performs from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays.

Saturday, May 31

A Fifth Saturday Dance will be from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Chetco Grange Community Center, 97895 Shopping Center Ave., Harbor. Admission is by donation. Boy Scouts Troop 32 will be present with its own fundraiser: Members will be serving desserts and ice cream for donations. Music will be performed by Jurassic Country.

Grammy Award-winning musician Doug Smith will perform in concert at the Rogue Playhouse, 94196 Moore St., Gold Beach. He will perform contemporary music on guitar and vocals. Doors open at 7 p.m. with a no-host wine and beer bar. The concert begins at 7:30 p.m.  Tickets are $15 and available at the Coffee Dock or Gold Beach Books in Gold Beach, or at the door.

Sunday, June 1

The American Music Festival will begin its 2014 season of concerts in Azalea Park. The Jesse Goergen Crew will perform at 1 p.m. at the bandshell. Admission is free. Donations will be accepted.

Four Shillings Short will perform at 3 p.m. at the Curry Public Library, 94341 Third St., Gold Beach. The program is titled “A Celebration of Ireland — Music, Poetry and Stories from the Irish Tradition.”

Tuesday, June 3

Brookings Harbor Community Theater will hold auditions for the musical production of “Lady Pirates of Captain Bree” from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Harbor Performing Arts Center, 97900 Shopping Center Ave. For more information, call Director Lynette McPherson at 541-414-4810.

Four Shillings Short will perform at 4 p.m. at the Chetco Community Public Library, 405 Alder St., Brookings. The program is titled “A Celebration of Ireland — Music, Poetry and Stories from the Irish Tradition.”

A fundraiser variety show will be at 7 p.m. at the Harbor Performing Arts Center, 97900 Shopping Center Ave. The program includes singers, dancers, a ukulele player, a violinist, pianists and Soundwave choir from Azalea Middle School. Admission is a $5 donation. Proceeds help Shawntisha Bailey with travel expenses to the National Fine Arts Festival in Columbus, Ohio. For more information, call 541-251-0255. 

Sunday, June 8

The American Music Festival presents Tsunami Swing followed by the Curry/Del Norte Orchestra at 1 p.m. at the Azalea Park bandshell. Admission is free. Donations will be accepted.
