The districtwide Del Norte Instrumental Night will be at 7 p.m. in the main gym at Del Norte High School, 1301 El Dorado St., Crescent City. A Fifth Saturday Dance will be from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Chetco Grange Community Center, 97895 Shopping Center Ave., Harbor. Admission is by donation. Boy Scouts Troop 32 will be present with its own fundraise: Members will be serving desserts and ice cream for donations.
Grammy Award-winning musician Doug Smith will perform in concert at the Rogue Playhouse, 94196 Moore St., Gold Beach. He will perform contemporary music on guitar and vocals. Doors open at 7 p.m. with a no-host wine and beer bar. The concert begins at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $15 and available at the Coffee Dock or Gold Beach Books in Gold Beach, or at the door.
