“Creative Mondays” take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Crescent Harbor Gallery, 140 Marine Way, Crescent City. Attendees may come for only part of the day if wished; a 3 p.m. critique is encouraged. This is not limited to painters, but for any artwork a person wants to work on. Crescent Harbor Gallery’s “Fourth Thursday” art demo will be at noon, preceded by a potluck at 11:30 a.m. It will given by Deborah Dawson of Cave Junction. Chetco Grange 765 will host a community dance with live music from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Chetco Grange Community Center, 97895 Shopping Center Ave., Harbor. There is no cover charge. Everything is available by donation, including refreshments by PEO sisterhood.

Chetco Pelican Players holds auditions for the musical “Dirty Rotten Scoundrels” at 6:30 p.m. at Evergreen Federal Bank, 850 Chetco Ave., Brookings. Those auditioning should bring their own song to sing with or without music. Roles are available for men and women of all ages.
