Chetco Pelican Players presents the musical production “Dirty Rotten Scoundrels” at 7:30 p.m. at the Chetco Playhouse, 1240 Chetco Ave., Brookings. The final show will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, July 5. “Creative Mondays” take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Crescent Harbor Gallery, 140 Marine Way, Crescent City. Attendees may come for only part of the day if wished; a 3 p.m. critique is encouraged. This is not limited to painters, but for any artwork a person wants to work on. Pelican Bay Arts Association meets at the Manley Art Center, 433 Oak St., Brookings. A general meeting will be at 11 a.m. with a potluck following. At 12:30 p.m. Pete Chasar will present an 80-minute documentary film, “Tim’s Vermeer,” which proposes that Vermeer used optical devices to produce his paintings. The 118th Second Saturday Art Walk will be from 3 to 6 p.m. at nine venues within walking distance of Chetco Avenue and Oak Street in Brookings. The event includes art, presentations, music and food.
