Thursday, April 24

The Fourth Thursday Art Demo will feature Arlene Krogstad giving a demonstration in watercolor, drawing and other media. The event will begin at 11:30 a.m. with a finger-food luncheon followed by the demonstration at noon at Crescent Harbor Gallery, 140 Marine Way, Crescent City. All are welcome. Brookings Harbor Community Theater presents “The Tale of Peter Rabbit (and Benjamin Bunny)” at 7 p.m. at the Harbor Performing Arts Center, 97900 Shopping Center Ave. Final showtimes are at 7 p.m. Friday, April 25, and 2 p.m. Saturday, April 26. Tickets are $10 for adults, $9 for seniors, $7 for students and $5 for children 5 and younger. Karen Warwick and Joe Eckert will perform instrumental Mexican music on accordion and tuba from 5 to 7 p.m. at Taqueria La Joya, 10700 Highway 101, Smith River.

Adam Taylor will perform at 7 p.m. at The Vista Pub, 1009 Chetco Ave., Brookings.

Chetco Pelican Players presents “The Importance of Being Earnest” at 7:30 p.m. at the Chetco Playhouse, 1240 Chetco Ave., Brookings. Final shows will be at 7:30 p.m. Saturday April 26, and 2 p.m. Sunday, April 27. Saturday, April 26

Columbia Adventist Academy in Battle Ground, Wash., will present a musical program at 11 a.m. at Brookings Seventh-day Adventist Church, 102 Park Ave. About 70 students will be performing in a vocal choir, bell choir and band. 

Wednesday, April 30

The King’s Herald Quartet will present a free concert at 7 p.m. at Brookings Seventh-day Adventist Church, 102 Park Ave.

Tuesday, May 6

The Pacific Music Guild presents the North Coast Chorale under the direction of Christie Lynn Rust and the Crescent City Children’s Choir under the direction of Greg Goode at 7 p.m. at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 319 E St., Crescent City.  A suggested donation is $5. Tickets are available at Del Norte Office Supply or the door. A performance will also be at 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 7.
