Lenora I. Dittner

Former Harbor resident Lenora I. Dittner, 90, of Central Point, passed away in the early morning hours of July 13, 2010, at her home. 

She was born Jan. 10, 1920, in Corning, Calif., to Carl and Sarah Davis. 

Lenora graduated from Corning High School. She  attended University of California at Berkeley. 

Lenora married Bud Dittner Dec. 24, 1940, in Reno, Nev.

Lenora  was a 25-year resident of Harbor. She was a member of the Brookings Emblem Club 265, and Brookings-Harbor Garden Club. She loved canning and working  in her garden. She moved to Central Point in  2005.

Lenora is survived by her daughter Marilyn Hyde and her husband Jim of Ashland; granddaughter Becky Rembisz and her husband Matt of La Center, Wash.; grandson Mike Hyde of Merlin. Also surviving are several great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. 

Lenora was preceded in death by her husband Bud Dittner in 1999, and a grandson in 1987.
