Highway 199 reopened

Route 199 between Crescent City and Ashland re-opened to two-late traffic Tuesday afternoon. The road was closed Monday and Tuesday morning due to a rock slide near Patrick Creek, cutting off travel between the coast and inland cities. Caltrans advised that conditions conditions may change.
