Breast health resources available
The Curry Breast Health Network Resource Center is in the GoldRush Building within the Moose Creek Bath and Body Store, 29692 Ellensburg Ave. (Highway 101), Gold Beach.
Here you will find information and resources about breast health including:
• How to apply for the Oregon Breast and Cervical Cancer Program - For women with low or no insurance coverage to ensure they get annual exams.
• Gas cards - Benefitting women who need to travel outside the county for services.
- • How to do a breast self exam - Free shower cards are available.
- • Prosthetics and lingerie - Products, information, and private personalized consultation.
- • Breast feeding/lactation consultation and information - Did you know women who breast feed their babies lower the chances of breast cancer?
- • Referral services - Not sure who to call or where to go for services or options? See our list of Oregon breast health providers.
- • Think Pink locally - Pink Breast Health Support bracelets, pins, and books are available along with "Forget Me Not" seed packets.
- • Organic skin care - A line of organic skin care soaps and lotions. Proceeds go to the Curry Breast Health Network.
- • Hispanic education - Information for Spanish speakers is available online at www.curryhealthnetwork.com/CG_CBHN_Links.htm.
