Margaret L. Sullens

Margaret L. Sullens, 99, of Brookings, passed away Jan. 22, 2010, in Medford.

At her request, no service will be held. Cremation was at Redwood Memorial Crematory.

Margaret was born Nov. 13, 1910, in Kansas City, Mo., to Jacob and Oretta (Wellman) Hoffman.

She married Reginald “Buck” Hoile. He preceded her in death in 1970. She later married Carl Sullens who also preceded her in death.

Margaret moved to Brookings in 1982. She worked as a dispatcher for the Josephine County Sheriff’s Department prior to moving to Brookings. She enjoyed sports, fishing and traveling, including taking numerous cruises.

Margaret is survived by her brother-in-law Cliff Sullens of Yakima, Wash., and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her two husbands.
