Cherride Lois Poehlman

Cherride Lois Poehlman, 76, of Milpitas, Calif., beloved wife and mother, passed away peacefully at midnight  Jan. 23, 2010, at her home, her family at her side.

Cherri was born Feb. 28, 1933, and lived an  active and wholesome life.

She will always be known for her love of God, her devotion to her husband and her love of her family.

Cherri enjoyed traveling with her husband. She played the organ and piano for many church choirs over the past 60 years.

She is survived by her husband William “Bill” Poehlman Jr.; children Suzanne, Bruce, Louis, James, Judith and Vivian; brothers Joe and Paul; uncle Felix. Also surviving are 11 grandchildren.

A rosary will be at 7 p.m., Friday, Jan. 29, at Lima Family Mortuary on Warm Springs Blvd., in Fremont, Calif. A funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m., Saturday Jan. 30, at St. Elizabeth’s Church in Milpitas. She will be laid to rest at 1:30 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 30, at Lima Family Mortuary in Fremont.

In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to a favorite charity in memory of Cherri.
