Dewey Everette

 Dewey Everette, 83, of Bend, passed away Nov. 16, 2009, at his home of heart failure.

He was born Feb. 15, 1926, in Howesville, Ind., to Admiral and Juanita Keller.

Virginia, Dewey’s wife of 64 years, passed away Nov. 1, just 15 days before him.

The Kellers were residents of Brookings from 1983 to 2008. While in Brookings they owned and operated Keller’s Antiques, a foster home for the elderly. Dewey was a member of Jehovah’s Witnesses.

Dewey is survived by his son Jerry Keller; daughters Holly Weldon, Colleen Wirfs and her husband Larry Wirfs;  grandchildren Karlen, Susan, Jerry, Ted, Andy, William, James, Heather, Eric, Jennifer, and Jenelle. Also surviving are many many great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 21, at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 1519 Tucker Road, in Hood River.

Condolences may be sent to Holly Weldon and family, 1290 Multnomah Road, Hood River, OR 97031.
